Trial continues for woman accused of concealing husband's body
A 63-year-old Madison County Nebraska woman will be back in district court Monday morning for a pre-trial conference. Jeanne Fry of Madison is accused of concealing the body of her deceased husband. She was in Madison County District Court late last month for a pre-trial hearing, however Fry's defense attorney filed a motion to waive a speedy trial, which then allowed the conference to be delayed until Monday. The hearing is set for 9:30 Monday morning. If everything goes as scheduled, Fry's trial will begin one week from Monday in Madison. Fry was arrested in November after the decomposing body of her husband Jack was found under a blanket in their camper at the Madison City Campground. He was reported missing by a relative in August. Investigators think Jack had been deceased for months when he was found.
