A group of ethanol plant managers gathered for a meeting Tuesday.
There were over 20 plants represented from Canada to Kansas to talk about their operations and get advice from other managers.
New Tuesday, vendors, to discuss the latest products and situations with the managers.
Even though the plants are competitors, they still share information on new equipment and what works and what doesn't.
"We think the communication between the plants and learning from each other is very beneficial to all of us," said Ralph Scott, plant manager at Trenton, Nebraska.
After the two day meeting, plant managers will get a tour of the Jackson, Nebraska plant.
The plant has added a third mill for grinding corn that other managers are interested in, along with their continued efforts to improve safety within the plant.
