Governors challenge media "misinformation" about LFTB

Posted:

At Thursday's press conference, where leaders of five states talked about LFTB, which is the product BPI produces, Texas Governor Rick Perry called-out one of the network reporters who first broke the story.

He asked ABC's Jim Avila, "Has there been one individual in this country that has been poisoned, or has been sick, or has died from a product that came out of this company? You wouldn't let me get away with that, stonewalling you."

Avila said ABC News has never broadcast that the product is "unsafe", or that it's hurt someone. Avila merely said it's unlabeled, and in ground beef.
