While dozens of businesses came out to support BPI at least one school joined the fight as well.
Educators and graduates from South Dakota State University gassed up the grill and flipped burgers for the day.
They were one of the dozens of grill masters in attendance.
School officials say they support the product because it has a great track record.
"From a scientific perspective, it's an extremely good product and it's important that we support that based on the science," said Keith Underwood, SDSU Extension Meat Specialist.
Other organizations firing up their grills were the cattlemen's associations of Woodbury, Ida, and Cherokee counties.
