SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KTIV) -

The Sioux City Explorers have re-signed reliever Eddie de la Cruz for the 2012 season.

It will be De la Cruz's third year with the club.

Know as "Every day" Eddie, de la Cruz appeared in 48 games a season ago, posting a 3.46 ERA in 75 and a third innings of work.

The righty has compiled an 11 and 9 record, and has struck out 137 batters over his 101 appearances for the X's.
