From social networking, to shopping and banking, we spend a lot of time on the Internet these days. And we type a lot of our personal information on the World Wide Web. And that puts us at risk for identity theft. But there are safety steps to keep you safe.
One thing to keep in mind, don't reuse the same passwords on a lot of websites. Darrin Fangman of Briar Cliff University says it's best to come up with a small number of passwords that you can rotate between websites, just don't repeat it too often.
