SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KTIV) -

The Sioux City Bandits wasted little time against the Springfield Wolfpack, scoring on their first possession of the game and never looked back, routing the Wolfpack 68-6 Saturday night.

The Bandits scored one minute and 11 seconds into the game as Scott Jensen connected with Damon Mothershead on a 21 yard touchdown.

Sioux City's defense continued to be dominant, returning a block field goal for a touchdown to give the Bandits a 14-0 lead.

Leading 21-0 in the second, Taylor Schumacher picked off Michael Bielefeld and returned it 25 yards for a score.  Sioux City added two more on the two-point conversion.

Jensen, who threw just two passes on the day, hooked up with Eddie Pertilla on a 46-yard bomb to push the Bandits lead out to 41-0.

The Wolfpack avoided being shutout, scoring at the 9:47 mark in the fourth quarter.

But, the Bandits answered right back with rushing scores from Drew Prohaska and Sean Treasure.
