BV County man killed on farm

NEWELL, Iowa (KTIV) -

A rural Newell, Iowa man has died of a head injury suffered in an accident on his farm.

The Buena Vista County sheriff says 73-year-old Kenneth Bonde was working Thursday evening on a pressure tank in a well pit when the tank ruptured.

Bonde was hit in the head with a piece of the tank and died at the scene.

His death is under investigation.
