Interpretive Center to host flag raising Friday

SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KTIV) -

A unique sight to see in Sioux City Friday. The U-S Army will be raising a large flag. It's a 30-by-50 foot flag. The flag raising is scheduled for one Friday afternoon at the Lewis & Clark Interpretive Center on Sioux City's Riverfront.

The center is playing host for an entire afternoon of exercises and activities for new U-S Army recruits. The flag raising event is open to the public.
