SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KTIV) -
Do you plan on shopping this weekend?
You might want to check out the bargains at a place normally bustling with animals.
The Siouxland Humane Society is holding its first rummage sale. Those who stop by the shelter can sort through a variety of donated items, from books and bikes to clothes.
There are even items for pets. The proceeds will help pay for care of the animals.
"Everything that is purchased here, stays here, which means everything that we raise helps out the animals and what a great cause," said Kelly Erie, Assistant Shelter Manager at the Siouxland Humane Society.
The rummage sale at the Humane Society runs Saturday from 10 until 5 p.m.
