Annual Big Parade dates announced

SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KTIV) -

The annual BIG PARADE through downtown Sioux City is set for Friday, July 6th.

The parade will be make its way down Fourth Street and we will be broadcasting live on KTIV starting at seven.

They expect the 2012 Mardi Gras-themed parade will feature the largest number of entries.

Organizers say over 100,000 Mardi Gras beads are ready to be tossed into the crowds.

And, you will have the chance to vote for your favorite Big Parade entry via text message.
