Vermillion, South Dakota, native Ben Leber is retiring after 10 seasons in the NFL.

A linebacker, Leber saw action with the San Diego Chargers, Minnesota Vikings and St. Louis Rams.

Leber starred at Kansas State and was selected in the third round of the 2002 draft by the Chargers.

For his career Leber amassed 498 total tackles, 24 sacks and five interceptions.
