EAST LAKE OKOBOJI, Iowa (KTIV) -

An Estherville, Iowa woman has drowned in the Iowa Great Lakes.

Authorities were called to East Lake Okoboji just before two Sunday morning.

When they arrived they learned 26-year old Jennifer Johnson had gone missing from a boat.

Five hours, later they found her body west of Chalstrom Beach.

Their investigation determined that Johnson had swam away from a boat with others when she disappeared.
