Search for cause in Arnolds Park restaurant fire

Arnolds Park, IOWA (KTIV) -

Investigators are still trying to figure out what caused the fire that destroyed the Mineral City restaurant in Arnolds Park, Iowa.

Arnolds Park-Okoboji Fire Chief Chris Yungbluth says the State Fire Marshal and insurance investigators are continuing their probe.

Thunderstorms with intense lightning had been in the area Sunday evening, a few hours before the fire was reported.

However, investigators aren't saying if that could have been a factor.

No injuries were reported.
