Awesome Biker Nights rolls into downtown Sioux City

SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KTIV) -

A roar louder than the looming thunderstorms took over the streets of downtown Sioux City Thursday night.

Awesome Biker Nights is back on Historic Fourth Street.

The event features three stages of live music, stunt performances, even a motorcycle show.

Even though it was storming, bikers came out to kick off the weekend.

"I think it's a great event for the community to just bring people together and get all the Harley riders together," said Maris Girard, Sioux City.

Events will continue all weekend long. Gates open at 3pm on Friday.

Wristbands for weekend-long access can be purchased at all Hy-Vee locations, the Tyson Events Center Box Office, Long Lines, or at the gate for $20.
