South Sioux vendors think big for farmers market

SOUTH SIOUX CITY, Neb. (KTIV) -

South Sioux City, Neb., is bringing fresh local flavors to area residents through its new farmers market.

This market features fresh vegetables, herbs, flowers and fresh meat.

The group of farmers that comes to South Sioux City each Sunday is small, but they hope to grow.

"We really try to ramp up the market over the season. More vendors coming each week and more stuff, and more customers. So, it's been exciting," said Amy Radding, an organizer.

The market runs each Sunday from 10 to 4.  It's just off of Highway 77 on Dakota Avenue and 6th Street in South Sioux.
