Hook, line, and sinker this is the best Father's Day for one grandpa

SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KTIV) -

Some fathers reeled in a good time with their kids this Father's Day.

Lines were dropping left and right at Bacon Creek Park.

John Ziniel and his grandson Austin made the trip from Akron, Iowa.

Seven-year-old Austin is visiting from Florida.

His grandpa taught him how to fish.

He caught his first ever Iowa fish while our camera was rolling Sunday.

"I caught more fish here than I have in Florida," said Austin.

Grandpa says this Father's Day, with his only grandchild, beats all the rest.

"No way better than this one, this year. This one I'll never forget," said John.

The Father's Day fishing event was sponsored by the Dorothy Pecaut Nature Center which provided free fishing poles
