South Dakota to add jobs over the summer

Posted:

South Dakota employers say they plan to hire workers at a solid pace throughout the summer.

A report by Manpower Incorporated shows that 21% of businesses surveyed plan to add employees from July through September, while only 3% say they expect to reduce payrolls.

About 75% of employers surveyed expect to maintain current staff levels.

The Sioux Falls Argus Leader reports those results are nearly identical to the previous quarter.
