Jury finds Gregg not guilty of fatal fight outside local bar

For the first time in two years, Brad Gregg is a free man. He spent the last couple of years, charged with involuntary manslaughter in the death of Joe McDonald. Tuesday, a jury acquitted Gregg in his second trial. The jury took only four hours to return their not guilty verdict.

UPDATE: Parents react to county attorney's decision in teen's suicide

Plans are underway for an event next month to honor a Siouxland student who committed suicide earlier this year. The news comes one day after authorities decided not to file charges in the death of 14-year-old Kenneth Weishuhn. Family members say Weishuhn committed suicide because he was bullied, both at school and online, for being gay.

Relay For Life preps underway

People will be showing their support for cancer research this weekend during the Relay for Life at Memorial Field in Sioux City. Tuesday, the committee put the final touches on some 600 bags, which will be illuminated with candles. The purpose of the event is to honor those whose lives have been affected by cancer. There's still time to join, you can show up at the event to walk or donate. Luminary bags are $10 and will be lit around 10 pm.
