DENISON, Iowa (KTIV) -
Though authorities are still waiting for positive identification of a body found along railroad tracks in Crawford County, Iowa, the county sheriff suspects it could be a missing Pennsylvania man.
Sheriff Jim Steinkuehler says railroad workers spotted the body, on Tuesday, about a mile from where Jonathan Elwell's car was abandoned.
Elwell's family tells the Omaha World Herald newspaper that they believe the body is that of the 44-year-old, who's been missing since mid-April.
Steinkuehler says investigators are waiting for dental records to help with identification. If they can't get dental records, the next step would involve DNA.
