Airport employee is accused of bringing gun to work

SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KTIV) -

A maintenance worker at the Sioux Gateway Airport is charged after, police say, he brought a gun to work.

Investigators say Richard Wade, 57, was upset with a supervisor, and brought the gun to work.

Authorities say sometime Wednesday morning another airport employee saw the gun in Wade's work vehicle, and called police.

Investigators say Wade never made any direct threats to the supervisor, and the gun never made it out of his vehicle.

Wade is charged with going armed with intent.
