Pick-up careens through Sioux City neighborhood taking out two cars

SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KTIV) -

A Sioux City neighborhood was shaken up by a three-car crash on Sunday.

"Hear a huge crash, and some tires screeching.  Just think somebody's angry and driving fast outside the house.  Look outside and see two cars mangled up the street," said Cody Trudeau.

Then he saw a pick-up truck laying upside down on his front lawn, the place his children often play.

Sioux City Police said the driver hit a parked car in the 1900 block of Summit Street, sending it into a third car.

An officer says he continued into the next block, clipping a utility pole before flipping over and coming to rest at 1817 Summit.

The driver was rushed to the hospital.  His name and condition have not been released.

Police do not believe speed was a factor.  No one else was hurt.
