SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KTIV) -
New money is coming to Sioux City to help keep drugs off the street. The Iowa Governor's Office of Drug Control awarded Sioux City's Tri-State Drug Task Force nearly $200-thousand from a federal grant.
The task force is one of 31 agencies across the state to receive the money to help in drug prevention, treatment, and enforcement initiatives.
The goal for the grant money is to create safer communities and protect Iowans from drug-related crimes.
