Body found is missing Storm Lake man

LINN GROVE, Iowa (KTIV) -

The Buena Vista County Sheriff's Department says the body of a 30-year-old Storm Lake, Iowa man has been recovered.

Lithavongsay Nouthavykoun is known to most as Kee. He disappeared about 5 p.m. Wednesday afternoon.

Kee told witnesses he was hot, then jumped into the Little Sioux River to cool off. Shortly after, he was seen yelling for help. He then went under the water and never resurfaced.

Kee's body was found 500 yards downstream during a search by authorities, Friday afternoon. It's been taken to Ankeny for an autopsy.
