The "road closed" signs go up Monday on two more Sioux City streets as part of the I-29 reconstruction project. Tri-View Avenue between Hamilton Boulevard and Pearl Street will be closed for up to two months. You'll still be able to reach the Humane Society, Elks Lodge and Farmer's Market by using Pearl Street. Also, Larsen Park Road on the Riverfront will be closed in front of the Lewis & Clark Interpretive Center.
A Siouxland hotel is back in business. After more than a million dollars worth of rebuilding, the Rodeway Inn & Suites in Milford, Iowa is welcoming guests once again. The hotel was heavily damaged by fire last September. After praying about it, owner Andre Frigo and his wife decided to rebuild. They've even added some amenities that weren't there before, including a fitness center and laundry services.
A ribbon cutting ceremony at Norfolk, Nebraska's Veterans Memorial Park on Saturday marked the official dedication of the facility. The complex includes new football, soccer and baseball fields along with the brand new Memorial Aquaventure Water Park.
