Second truck stop to reopen along Singing Hills Boulevard

SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KTIV) -

Shortly after Truck Haven was bought out by Pilot, nearby Sioux Harbor truck stop closed.  Now, city officials say another national chain is moving in.

Monday, construction crews could be seen getting the site ready to reopen as one of Love's Travel Stops and Country Stores.

A Love's contractor recently went before Sioux City's Board of Adjustment for a sign variance on the project. 

According to their website, the Oklahoma-based company has more than 260 travel centers in 38 states.

There's no word on when the facility will reopen.
