Tri-View Avenue closed up to six weeks

SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KTIV) -

A busy Sioux City street closed Monday for utility work, associated with the I-29 project.

Officials expect Tri-View Avenue to be closed for up to six weeks.

Expect delays and a possible closure along Larsen Park Road as well. Sewer work is being done there.

The Public Works Department is still evaluating whether a hard closure will be necessary. For right now, it remains open.

"All of the available attractions and businesses are still open and accessible. It's just the connections right at the pump station area, right before the Veterans Bridge," said Public Works Director Jade Dundas.

That work on Larsen Park Road should also take about six weeks once it begins.
