A Sioux City woman has died in the collision of a motorcycle and van in southeast South Dakota.

It happened on Saturday afternoon, on a rural road, south of Hartford, South Dakota.

Investigators say the van, driven by 32-year-old Adam Thielbar, of South Carolina, was making a left turn off of 463rd Avenue.

The motorcycle, driven by 40-year-old Jason Lohr, of Tea, hit the van. Lohr, and a passenger on the motorcycle, 36-year-old Jill Schwartz, suffered life-threatening injuries in the crash. Neither one was wearing a helmet.

Schwartz died Monday.

There's no word on Lohr's condition.
