STORM LAKE, Iowa (KTIV) -
One northwest Iowa town pulled out all the stops to host a party to celebrate our nation's independence.
Storm Lake had their annual "Big Parade" right along the lake as part of the "Star Spangled Spectacular."
From tractors to trucks, this celebration seemed to have it all.
Storm Lake is a very diverse community, so it was no surprise to see different ethnic groups represented in the parade.
"It's a Fourth of July Parade, my daughter was on the one float earlier and we came over to see the parade and stuff and enjoy the nice day off of work and enjoy a nice day period," said Erik Schwanz, Cherokee.
The event lasted a couple hours.
Fireworks cap the celebration, Wednesday at dusk.
