USD's Williams adds two familiar faces to coaching staff

Amy Williams has brought in Tandem Mays and Chuck Love to be apart of her staff. Amy Williams has brought in Tandem Mays and Chuck Love to be apart of her staff.
VERMILLION, S.D. (KTIV) -

University of South Dakota women's basketball Head Coach Amy Williams continues to piece together her coaching staff, adding Tandem Mays and Chuck Love to her staff.

Williams is very familiar with both Mays and Love who join her at USD after spending time at Rogers State, where Williams coached the past five years.

Mays, who was an assistant coach for the Hillcats, will serve as a graduate assistant for the Coyotes, while Love will be an assistant coach at USD.

In her four years at Rogers State, Mays guided the Hillcats to an 84-47 record.

In his only season with the Cats, Love helped the squad get back to the NAIA Division I Men's Basketball National Tournament.
