Utah traffic stop leads to search of NW Iowa acreage

ROLFE, Iowa (KTIV) -

A Northwest Iowa couple are facing multiple drug charges following a traffic stop in Utah.

That traffic stop, on Tuesday, turned up marijuana, and 11,000 dollars in cash.

It also lead authorities to search Jason and Kathleen Ferguson's acreage near Rolfe, Iowa.

There, investigators say they found over 20 marijuana plants, various drugs, and drug paraphernalia.

The couple each face 23 counts of possession of drug paraphernalia, and failure to affix a drug tax stamp.
