"Saturday in the Park" highlights weekend

SIOUX CITY, Iowa -

When you talk about trademark events in Sioux City, the annual Saturday in the Park might take the funnel cake.

This year marks the 22nd straight year of the event.

Every year, Siouxlanders pack Grandview Park to take in the food, rides, and the free music.

The music goes all day and throughout the night, something for just about everyone.

Jonathon Herroon, said, "I like the fact that it's free and there are alot of carnival rides..it's like there's that, I don't know call it over there. The concert is pretty fun there's been people that have come through that I have liked before."

The concerts provide the perfect background to a day of fun in the sun... that includes a lot more than music.
