The glass cubes in the floor of the 100 year old South Dakota Capital are getting a little work.
Crews will soon start putting in extra support for a floor in the capital that features the glass cubes. Those cubes allow light to pass between the building's first and second floor rotunda. The work should be finished in early October.
Capitol officials say the update should ensure the floor remains sound for another century.
