SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KTIV) -
Fast cars. Classic cars. You'll find hundreds of them at the Southern Hills Hy-Vee, July 14th, to help benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Iowa.
The annual Hy-Vee Car Show, at the Southern Hills Hy-Vee store, is a one the largest car shows in the Sioux City area. It's Saturday, July 14th, from 10:00am to 2:00pm.
It doesn't cost anything to enter. But, BPI has donated some of its lean finely textured beef burgers to sell at the event. Funds raised benefit Make-A-Wish Foundation of Iowa. You can also buy raffle tickets from local merchants. The Grand Prize is from Golden Auto Sales.
The Make-A-Wish Foundation helps kids, from 18-months-old to 18-years-old, who have a life-threatening illness is not necessarily a terminal illness. Many of those kids go on to lead healthy lives. This year, the Sioux City chapter has granted wishes of 8 or 9 children.
