LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) -
The state of Nebraska brought in more taxes than expected in the last fiscal year.
A new report shows tax receipts beat projections by nearly $105 million, roughly 3 percent higher than expected.
The total tax receipts for the year ending June 30th was nearly $3.7 billion.
The growth was driven heavily by corporate income tax receipts.
State officials say the numbers are a sign that the state's economy is continuing to improve after the recession.
