SOUTH SIOUX CITY, Neb. (KTIV) -
A family is displaced after a house fire in South Sioux City, Nebraska.
The fire broke out late Friday afternoon at 122 East 17th Street.
The homeowners were inside at the time, and called 911.
Authorities say the fire started in the attic.
Fire fighters had to cut a hole in the roof to help put out the flames.
"There's not a whole lot of structure damage. We just got a lot of water damage downstairs. But fire wise, it's pretty much contained upstairs," said Denis Campbell, South Sioux City Fire Chief.
No injuries were reported.
Because of the temperature, fire crews were given plenty of water and even popsicles at the scene.
