CPR gets local girl scout Gold Award

Bonnie Keller wins the scouts' highest honor

SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KTIV) -

A Sioux City scout receives the Gold Award, the highest honor for a Girl Scout.

Bonnie Keller's Gold Award focused on ensuring her classmates at Bishop Heelan High School were trained in CPR.

She carried out the project during her junior and senior years, securing a defibrillator for the school, among other accomplishments.

Keller also became a volunteer for the American Red Cross.
