DAKOTA COUNTY, Neb. (KTIV) -
Monday afternoon, a Nebraska man will receive his sentence, after pleading "no contest" to charges in connection with the death of a South Sioux City woman.
In a plea agreement back in May, 53-year-old John Baker agreed to plead to a charge of manslaughter and concealing a death in the killing of Kelly Alspach.
Alspach died in October of 2011. Her body was found in a window seat in her home 12 days later.
A pathologist determined Alspach died from blunt force trauma. At his sentencing Monday, Baker faces 20 years for the manslaughter charge and up to a year in prison for concealing a body.
