SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KTIV) -
An arraignment date has been set for a Sioux City man charged with bringing a rifle to work. 57-year-old Richard Wade is charged with going armed with intent.
According to court paperwork Wade brought a .22 caliber rifle to his job at Sioux Gateway Airport on June 20th because he was unhappy with his supervisor.
Authorities say Wade got the gun from his vehicle, loaded it, and put it into his work vehicle. Court paperwork say that Wade then told a co-worker that he was going to shoot the supervisor.
Police said a coworker called authorities after seeing the gun in Wade's vehicle. His next court appearance is July 31st.
