SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KTIV) -

The Iowa State Little League Tournament is in Sioux City for the fourth time in its history.

The tournament was last in Sioux City in 2004. Opening ceremonies were earlier Saturday morning.

8 teams of 9-10 year olds and 11-12 year olds are eyeing a state title.

The winner of the 11-12 year old bracket advances to the Central Regional tournament in Indianapolis, which begins August 2.

If a team wins the regional tournament, they'll head to Williamsport, Pennsylvania, for the Little League World Series.

Headid and Westside are representing the 11-12 year olds of Sioux City.

Bracket play begins Tuesday. Title games are on Thursday.
