Alta-Aurelia falls 1-0 to No. 1 Davis County

Austin Delp struck out five and only gave up two-hits in Alta-Aurelia's 1-0 loss to No. 1 Davis County. Austin Delp struck out five and only gave up two-hits in Alta-Aurelia's 1-0 loss to No. 1 Davis County.

Alta-Aurelia's Austin Delp struck out five and only gave up two hits over six strong innings, but Davis County's Calvin Matthews was equally good, giving up only two hits and striking out 10 in a 1-0 win.

Jalen Henningsen collected the only two hits of the day for the Warriors. 

After reaching on an error in the sixth inning, DC's Clint Foster scored the only run of the game on an error as well.

With the loss, Alta-Aurelia finishes the season with a 23-11 record.

The defending champs from Davis County move on to play North Polk on Thursday.
