SIOUX CENTER, Iowa (KTIV) -
It's not only a long week for RAGBRAI riders, but for their gear as well. The responsibility falls into the laps of the drivers and their support team.
As the cyclists go from town to town, their gear needs to move along efficiently, to ensure everyone gets a good night's sleep.
"Find the meeting town; keep the coolers full of ice. That's pretty important. They want cold drinks. Pick up the stuff in the morning, put it in the trailer," said Tye Rinner of Washington, Iowa.
Many of the trailers or buses hold between 20 and 30 people.
