Authorities investigate serious crash in Plymouth County

NEAR LE MARS, Iowa (KTIV) -

A motorcycle crash in Plymouth County Iowa caused life-threatening injuries Saturday night.

It happened in the 2400 block of Highway Three, nine miles west of Le Mars.

Authorities say the driver of the motorcycle left the roadway on to the shoulder of the highway, lost control and entered a ditch, where they were thrown off.

They were not wearing a helmet.

Their name is not being released, pending notification of family.
