Omaha woman injured in Stanton County, Nebraska traffic incident

The Stanton County, Nebraska Sheriff's office is investigating an unusual incident that injured a 28-year-old woman from Omaha.

The sheriff's office says the woman was a passenger in an SUV that was traveling about 8 and a half miles south of Stanton Sunday afternoon.

Apparently she and her husband got into an verbal altercation as they drove on highway 57 with their two small children in the car.  Investigators say, at some point during the argument, the woman jumped from the moving SUV and was hurt.  She received serious facial injuries and several cuts.  Paramedics took her to the hospital in Norfolk.  No word on her condition.
