A suspect is at large this hour after a bank robbery in South Sioux City, Nebraska. Just after noon Monday, a police officer says she was paged to Bank of the West at 1001 Dakota Avenue.

After arriving on scene, it was determined that a black male in his early to mid thirties walked into the bank, indicated he had a weapon and demanded money. Authorities say he fled south with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Officials say he's about 5'8", 140 pounds, wearing dark sunglasses and a red hat.

"Do not approach that person if they do know who it is. Just contact us and then we'll handle it from there," Jeanette McFee, a South Sioux City, Nebraska Police Officer said.
