SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KTIV) -

The Siouxland Chamber of Commerce has announced its keynote speaker for its annual chamber dinner.

Chairman of the Board Jim Jensen announced that Jeb Bush will be speaking at this year's event.

Bush is the former Governor of Florida, serving in office in 1997 through 2007.

Bush's speech will be entitled, "America's Promise in Uncertain Times."

Jensen says that Bush was his first choice for keynote speaker, and he is excited about what Bush's knowledge and experience can do for Siouxland.

"I believe he has the knowledge, I believe he has the way of sharing his thoughts on the perspective of what he sees for a future in America," Jensen said.

The Siouxland Chamber of Commerce's annual dinner will take place on Oct. 8th at 7 p.m. at the Sioux City Convention Center.
