Morningside accident injures one person

SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KTIV) -

One person was hurt when two cars collided in Sioux City's Morningside neighborhood.

It happened shortly before 6:00pm, Tuesday night, at the intersection of Transit Avenue and South Paxton. Police say one of the drivers failed to yield on a left turn.

The person, who was taken to a Sioux City hospital, suffered non-life threatening injuries.
