Iowa Senator Jack Kibbie honored with Iowa Lakes Community College Award

ESTHERVILLE, Iowa (KTIV) -

Iowa Senator Jack Kibbie is being honored with a new award at Iowa Lakes Community College. Officials say it's a way to keep Kibbie's contribution to the college in the hearts and minds of future students.

Kibbie helped create Iowa Lakes Community College in 1965, and has served on its board of trustees. The Jack Kibbie Outstanding Service Award will be given to a student chosen by the board of trustees through a nomination process with faculty and staff.
