June E. Nylen Cancer Center to offer free mammograms for women

SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KTIV) -

The June E. Nylen Cancer Center is offering free digital mammograms to women in need of assistance.

The center received a $100,000 contribution from the Mark & Mary Ellen Nylen foundation to make that possible.

The money will help continue the "Fight Like a Girl" campaign which targets women age 35 to 50 who cannot afford a mammogram.

According to the American Cancer Society, breast cancer is the most common cancer diagnosed in women in the United States.
