Missing Iowa girls case now considered abduction investigation

Family members of two missing Iowa girls are struggling with the unknowns while law enforcement continues searching for the young cousins. 8-year-old Elizabeth Collins and 10-year-old Lyric Cook were last seen taking a bike ride in Evansdale, Iowa on July 13. Elizabeth Collins' mother says she sits up at night and Lyric Cook's father says he struggles with the unknowns.

Two Madison County Nebraska men expected in court Monday morning@

Carlos Arevelo-Martinez of Norfolk will be in court Monday morning. Arevelo-Martinez is accused of shooting and wounding Edna Gutierrez at her Norfolk home this past Valentines Day. Two days after the shooting, Arevelo-Martinez then held police at bay during an hours-long stand-off in Stanton. During a hearing last month, the Judge delayed the pre-trial hearing for Arevelo-Martinez so his defense attorney could complete a deposition.

Orange City, IA man finds historic Bible while renovating home

While remodeling his house in Orange City, Iowa, Brent Koops found a piece of Dutch heritage. As he broke through the drywall in an old closet, he found a Bible. It's printed in Dutch and came from the Netherlands during the 19th century. Koops found the owner's great, great, great granddaughter and returned it to her.
